Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SwitchedHit ("Service"), operated by SwitchedHit ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SwitchedHit. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account or allow others to access it.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• You must not create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage ("multi-accounting").
• You must not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without our written permission.
• Exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage. You must report any discovered exploits to us.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through any in-game communication feature.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its data.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls.

4. Virtual Currency & In-Game Items

SwitchedHit uses two in-game currencies: Coins (soft currency) and Gems (premium currency). Both are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value.

• Virtual currencies and items are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own them.
• We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove any virtual currency or item at any time.
• Virtual currency is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for real money.
• Any purchase of premium currency is final. We do not offer refunds except where required by law.

5. Free-to-Play Commitment

SwitchedHit is designed to be fully playable without spending money. Premium purchases offer cosmetic or convenience benefits only and do not provide a skill-based competitive advantage. We commit to maintaining this "no pay-to-win" principle.

6. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements to fund its free-to-play operation. By using the Service, you consent to the display of advertisements. We use Google AdSense; Google's use of advertising cookies is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Match Simulation & Service Availability

Daily matches are simulated server-side at approximately 8:00 PM IST. We make reasonable efforts to ensure matches run on schedule, but we do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or specific match timing. We are not liable for any loss of in-game progress due to technical issues, server downtime, or bugs.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on SwitchedHit — including but not limited to game mechanics, graphics, text, and code — is owned by or licensed to SwitchedHit. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any conduct we consider harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Virtual currency and items are forfeited on termination.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SwitchedHit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or game progress.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notification or by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
